1.3.4.5.1 Algorithm This is covered in section 3-1-3 (a) Removal of linear term, subcase (i), where the linear term is removed giving

\[ u^{\prime }=F\left ( x\right ) +G\left ( x\right ) u^{2}\]

And it turns out that \(F\left ( x\right ) \) is proportional to \(G\left ( x\right ) \) making it separable. See example above.
