6.50.3 Can you answer these questions?

6.50.3.1 \thanks   creates duplicate footnotes in AAAI21 sty

I am using the AAA21 style file (aaai21.sty) with article document class. When putting multiple \thanks{} on the authors, I get duplicate footnote text on the 1st page.

6.50.3.3 setbeamertemplage + beamerarticle = bug

I've tried to use the package beamerarticle to get notes from my teaching slides. 
It seems that beamerarticle has a problem parsing the file with setbeamertemplate commands that have bracket arguments....
