The foreach command in the following code doesn't seem right. How should it be?

Problem is, I can't get pgfplots to generate something similar even with a pretty big  ...

I'm a fan of Garamond fonts and I even worked a little bit a few years ago on an adaptation of URW Garamond No. 8 to OpenType.
