6.18.3.2 Incompatibility between commath and babel packages

When writing a semicolon in math mode while using commath and babel, like in the following code, the PDF does not compile and outputs a timeout error.

6.18.3.3 \emph isnA^\264t working with scrartcl

I want to use \emph{}, but as I changed all \textit{} in \emph{}, my code isnA^\264t working anymore. I am using TeX-Studio and suddenly itA^\264s not showing me the page anymore. It says "Underfull hbox in..."  ...
