If I have a numerical equation (i.e. no unknowns) in LaTeX, is it possible to have the equation typeset and evaluated in one go? 
I know calculations can be done relatively easily by embedding Lua  ...

4.36.1.6 Why don't CTAN packages include build.lua?

I notice that no packages on ctan include build.lua scripts, which would enable them to be installed using l3build. 
I find it is now easier to build and install a package using l3build than manually  ...
