4.16.3 Can you answer these questions?

4.16.3.1 Double quote and less characters (">) create a problem with listings

I don't know how to fix this problem, when I use "> in a listings I see a weird double > as result. 
See this example, where the following section of my article: 
De esta forma si el tA~\[DiscretionaryHyphen]tulo  ... 
[listings] [verbatim] [quoting]

4.16.3.2 Different background colors for different LyX documents?

By default the LyX background color is FAF0E6 (or 250, 240, 230). 
I can change it by going to Tools > Preferences > Look & Feel > Colors > Background > "Alter..." 
However, this changes the  ... 
[color] [lyx] [backgrounds]
