I need to enter the eth\237\205+- sign in LaTeX for a paper I'm writing. I tried compiling my paper using XeLaTeX, but it just ignores eth\237\205+-. Is there perhaps a way to enter the eth\237\205+-'s Unicode code point itself into ...

4.10.1.2 How does standalone crop?

I hope that this is not a duplicate. Consider the MWE
\documentclass[tikz]{standalone}
\standaloneconfig{border=-3cm 0cm 0cm 0cm}
\begin{document}
\begin{tikzpicture}
\draw(0,-5) grid (10,5);

https://tex.stackexchange.com/landing/r/newsletter?cta=question&id=422481

I encountered a peculiarity concerning NewDocumentCommand arguments.
In a case where I had real long names in the arguments, I wanted to put
them each on its own line. The first ones are OK, the 2 ...

4.10.1.4 Complicated Flow Chart

https://tex.stackexchange.com/landing/r/newsletter?cta=question&id=421787

I am now learning to create a flow chart for my thesis. But I faced quite a lot of problems and wasted a whole day on it. I want to replicate a flow chart below and i am working hard with the latex ...

4.10.1.5 Alignment of isosceles triangles in TikZ

I'm trying to line up a few isosceles triangles, but I cannot get all of them to align at their top (or bottom) properly. Following is the MWE:

\usepackage{tikz}

4.10.1.6 Using a ^ outside math mode

https://tex.stackexchange.com/landing/r/newsletter?cta=question&id=422327

I take it it is possible to redefine ^ (and _) to yield \textsuperscript
in text mode and work normally in math mode (is there a good reason why this is
not the default behaviour?), but I don't know ...

I have a bunch of unicode heavy (Julia) code that I want to plot with minted and am having trouble getting the unicode to display. For example, take the following code
f(x) = x.^2 + I"\200
const a^\212\227 = kron
