I am using memoir class for my document for a project. 
It requires to add some predefined text in even and odd pages, in the margins (except the first page) as shown in image bellow. 
Is there any way ...

I want the following output with BibLaTeX. 
MA~\274ller (2010) showed how X can be done and G. MA~\274ller (2011) provided 
an interesting alternative. But the approach by H. M. MA~\274ller (2009) is also cool.

When switching between different tracking settings using the microtypecontext, the tracking amount correctly switches back and forth, but the outer spacing surprisingly does not change any more after ...
