In LaTeX2e, I can write TikZ or tcolorbox options with spaces in keya^\200\223value pairs without any issues, e.g.:

\begin{tikzpicture}[remember picture, overlay, line width=2pt, every node/.style=...

A figure environment containing material (eg an image) that is narrower than the \textwidth is by default centered between the left and right margin. 
This is also true when the figure is placed ...
