I'm using luacode environments to assemble plot code for pgfplots. For many plots that works perfectly fine even with tikzexternalize. However, I have one plot where it does not work and the error ...

10.70.3.3 When modifying \@startsection, tag structure changed

When I modifying \@startsection in the cls for getting no space in the above stacked head (\section followed immediately \subsection) the tag structure changed to <p> tag instead of <sect>&...
