10.43.3.1 Catchwords not working with multicols

Now I'm facing the next hurdle. 
I want to have Catchwords in my document as shown here: 
It works fine with the package fwlw (First Word Last Word) as long as I do not use multicols. 
W/o multicols: 
... 
[header-footer] [multicol]

I found the answer from Simon Dispa with the following proposal:

10.43.3.3 How can I make my thesis 1.5 line spaced

I am currently compiling my thesis, and am having trouble making it 1.5 line spaced. As you can see below, I have loaded the setspace' package yet the onehalfspacing' command is not working as I get ...
