I am trying to understand Knuth's manmac.tex. At line 436 you can find the following code:
\newwrite\ans
\immediate\openout\ans=answers % file for answers to exercises
\outer\def\answer{\par\medbreak

10.35.1.2 How to name a TikZ path?

https://tex.stackexchange.com/landing/r/digest?cta=question&id=718391

How do I name the indicated TikZ path with a name such as X and subsequently use it, for example, to draw it?
The code shown does not compile!

I'm trying to create a custom more advanced function with a structure similar to
\str_case:nn {a^\237..test stringa^\237(c)}
{
{a^\237..string case1a^\237(c)} {a^\237..code case1a^\237(c)}

10.35.1.4 Spacing and vertical lines on a tabularx

https://tex.stackexchange.com/landing/r/digest?cta=question&id=718237

I made a table with tabular with the following code:
\documentclass[12pt,a4paper]{article}
\begin{document}
\begin{table}[ht!]\centering\begin{tabular}{|c|c|c|c|}
\hline Regulator&$K_p$&$T_i$...

10.35.1.5 TikZ: how prevent darker fill in overlapping regions?

https://tex.stackexchange.com/landing/r/digest?cta=question&id=718115

In this TikZ picture, how do I prevent the overlapping regions from becoming darker than the rest? I want the overlap to be the same uniform color as the rest of the regions.

As you can see, the Greek letter theta which is expected to be just below the curved stroke instead takes on a completely unexpected position.
What could it be due to?
