At the moment Ia^\200\231m writing my thesis and I want to use the symbol that the original author used. It is a form of greater/less than symbol, just a tad bit different. Ia^\200\231ve tried quite a few things ...

So, doesn't mcmlxxxvi equal \romannumeral1986? What the difference between them? \expandafter can bypass ...

\tikznode (which requires that pic cs: is not used).
