9.75.3.2 Unnumbered section header (\section command with star) with optional argument

I wish to have an unnumbered section header with an optional argument. (Should I refer to it as a section header, a section heading, or a section title?)

I have to rebuild a PowerPoint template with beamer and one convenient part of my solutions is to set a value for the top margin. Unfortunately this effects the note page as well. Is there a solution ...
