what is the best way to attach pdfs to my LaTeX document so that the entries are automatically written to the attachment? So far I have always solved this by simply creating a list that then reflects ...

I want to make a rectangle in TikZ, which has code in it. 
But, some part of the code should be coloured in e.g. blue. 
My current best solution is:

Let me preface by stating I'm still a newbie to TeX and my apologies in advance is if the solution to my problem is obvious.  So here's the issue.
