There seem to be a whopping align, aligned, alignedat, alignat, xalignat, xxalignat and falign in amsmath / mathtools - some also in there starred version. I just find sloppy statements like: "... [align] [amsmath] [mathtools] [alignat]

In optics, the "dioptre" unit's symbol is I^\264 (lowercase delta). As long as I don't use unicode-math, the following code gives the expected result, but with it, the unit is missing in the ... [siunitx] [unicode-math] [optical]
