I am using Mendeley to manage references for a project I am working on. It does a wonderful job of filling out each field so that details such as the DOI, page numbers, authors etc are accounted for. ... [bibtex] [formatting] [citing]

I am using a slightly edited aasjournal.bst file, which I have to use for some reason, e.g., to output the bibliography on a "single line". As it is, the style seems to output a comma after ... [bibliographies] [natbib] [aastex] [bst]
