Body of revolution with zero external moment in body coordinates

A cylinder is given initial spin around its z axes. Clicking on the perturbe button causes initial spin to be given around the x-axis. The space and body cones are visualized. Euler 3D equations for zero torque are solved analytically for this simplified special case where ωz = constant  .

Implementation follows theory explained on pages 114-115, in space dynamics book, by William Thomson, 1961. Both retrograde (when Iz > Ix  ) and direct precession (Iz < Ix  ) can be visualized Different options are available to help analyze the dynamics of the system
